  • Server and client authentication under the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol
  • Secure e-mail using Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME)
  • Secure payment using Secure Electronic Transaction (SET)

The Certificate Server product consists of:

  • The server engine and support modules
  • The server database
  • Administration tools
  • An HTTP client for performing certificate enrollment
  • Software development files and sample code
  • Product documentation

This product documentation is designed to assist corporate information system administrators and Webmasters who install, configure, operate, administer, and customize Certificate Server.
