Scalability

Microsoft® Certificate Server is a cornerstone for implementing public-key cryptography-based security on corporate intranets and other forms of enterprise-wide networks, as well as on the Internet. Using Certificate Server, it is easier to support large numbers of users since there is no need to distribute password databases. Certificate Server can be deployed on multiple servers in large organizations that need the flexibility of more than one Certificate Authority.
