Microsoft® Certificate Server includes support for client certificate enrollment using Netscape Navigator version 3.0.
To perform certificate enrollment using Netscape Navigator

Access the Certificate Enrollment Tools Web Page.

Select Request A Client Authentication Certificate to access the Netscape Navigator Enrollment Form. (Your browser type will be detected automatically.)

Fill out the fields in the form with your personal information. If you are unsure about how to fill out any field, see Guidelines for Distinguished Name Fields. Also select the desired Key Strength.
- Click Submit when ready to submit the certificate request.
You will be prompted by a user interface that will lead you through the rest of the certificate enrollment process. If the procedure is successfully completed, the client certificate will be installed in Netscape Navigator and will be ready to be used for client authentication.
