Uninstalling Certificate Server

You uninstall Microsoft® Certificate Server by running the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack Setup program and clearing the check box for the top-level Certificate Server component. Once Certificate Server has been uninstalled, it can be reinstalled by running Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack Setup and setting the check box for the top level Certificate Server component. Attempting to install Certificate Server when it is already installed or uninstall Certificate Server when it is already uninstalled will have no effect.

Note You can uninstall the following individual sub-components of Certificate Server by clearing the appropriate check box:

· Certificate Server Certification Authority to uninstall the server and client files.

· Certificate Server Documentation to uninstall the documentation files from the Internet Information Server version 4.0 master document.

· Certificate Server Web Client to uninstall only the client files.
