Using the Administrator's Guide

The Administrator's Guide is intended for corporate information systems administrators and Webmasters who are responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, administration, and customization of Microsoft® Certificate Server. Individuals will be able to perform these tasks with just the information provided in this guide without a deeper understanding of public-key technology and issues related to establishing a Certificate Authority, provided that they follow a plan devised by someone who understands these issues. Background material useful to planners is provided in Certificate Server Concepts.
